Can't we all just get along, go to Vegas, have phun together and watch a great show? I'll be there!
Yeah the Komrad part was a hoot!! It was so hard to not add dumbass at the end. People complaining about Jimmy obviously haven't been to a variety of concerts.

I admire your restraint. You're a better woman than me! Maybe he listened to Party At The End Of The World...what, JB misses those commies?

I love Halloween so going downtown Sunday night just got more phun. Saw some of this stuph last year, it was pretty great. Must catch the illusionist at 8:15!
LAS VEGAS – September 15, 2010 – Fremont Street Experience announces the ultimate Oktoberfest and Halloween combined street party with its second annual “OktoberFrightFest,” a month-long festival Sept. 29 thru Oct. 31.
The spook-tacular nightly fun and fantasy kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 29 and continues throughout “Oktober,” ending on Halloween, Sunday, Oct. 31. Fremont Street Experience will transform itself into the ultimate adult playground with Oktoberfest and Halloween festivities, including Viva Vision light and sound shows themed to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash,” Beer Gardens featuring seasonal Oktoberfest food & drink specials, a haunted house attraction inside Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, a Fall Beer Festival at Golden Nugget, a Halloween parade, plus three free Halloween-themed stage shows.
“After the success of last year’s inaugural OktoberFrightFest, there was no question that Fremont Street Experience would bring the festival back to life for another year,” said Jeff Victor, President of Fremont Street Experience. “This October’s month-long festival will turn downtown Las Vegas into a nighttime playground for local Las Vegans and visitors. We are planning 33 nights of pure sensory overload, so get dressed up in costume, come down any night and join us as we take this celebration to a new level.”
Live Shows during OktoberFrightFest:
“Freakin’ Magic - Horror Hospital starring Kevin James” creates bizarre and shocking scenes with some of the most horrifying illusions on the planet. Kevin James has recently appeared on America’s Got Talent and the Tonight Show and has been on TV in 64 countries. Last year at this time, Kevin was giving a special Command Performance at the White House for the First Family and 500 of their closest friends for Halloween. This year, Kevin is stepping it up a notch, promising a show you will never forget. His Horror Hospital illusions will push the envelope visually and keep the viewer guessing straight through the show. “Freakin’ Magic – Horror Hospital starring Kevin James” is produced by FAME (Frank Alfter Magical Enterprises). Don’t miss this chance to see daring illusions live on the 3rd Street Stage, Wednesdays through Sundays at 8:15 and 10:15 p.m.
“Frank & The Steins” is a live musical revue of classic Halloween songs. The cast is comprised of hot ghouls and guys; singers, dancers and live musicians performing songs including “Psycho Killers,” “Spooky,” “Time Warp,” and “Ghostbusters,” that will make audiences dance, laugh, sing and scream. “Frank & The Steins” is produced by Face Productions and choreographed by Melden Steele. “Frank & The Steins” will perform Thursdays-Mondays on the 1st Street Stage at 8:15, 9:15 and 10:15 p.m.
“Alice and Ozzy’s Frightmare” draws equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical brand of rock music designed to shock. This tribute to Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne is sure to bring the spirit of Halloween to life on stage. Their performance includes a stage show that features smoke machines, a coffin, a guillotine and an electric chair. “Alice and Ozzy’s Frightmare” will perform Tuesdays through Saturdays on the Main Street Stage at 9:15, 10:15 and 11:15 p.m.
Haunted House (Binion’s Gambling Hall):
In addition to all the free entertainment on Fremont Street Experience, FSE member property Binion’s Gambling Hall complements OktoberFrightFest with its second annual Downtown Vegas Haunted Casino. The ticketed-admission attraction features two thrilling haunts open 7 p.m.-midnight, Thursdays through Sundays starting Friday, Oct. 1. The attraction will be open Tuesday through Sunday, Oct. 26-31.
Oktoberfest:
Food and drink specials will be available throughout OktoberFrightFest, including beer specials featuring German beer Beck’s, Blue Moon craft beer, Coors Banquet and Coors Light. Featured liquors on Fremont Street Experience during OktoberFrightFest will be Bacardi Cherry, Jack Daniels and Southern Comfort Lime. Hotel-casinos on Fremont Street Experience will offer food specials in special beer garden areas.

What's the usual ticket scene in Vegas before the shows? I'm hoping there will be some scalping going on and that prices will come down. Currently on Ebay and Stubhub, even nosebleed seats are going for over $200 each. I'm flying in Saturday afternoon and don't have a ticket. Only need one -- will pay cash. And, yes, I've been in the Ticket Exchange thread. There isn't much going on there.

Shockingly there's never been a problem getting tickets to this so resorting to scalpers isn't necessary. But I noticed that there wasn't much available when I went to purchase them in August, even for "single" seats

Usually there are two Vegas shows every year but this year there is only one, so perhaps that is why the ticket situation is seemingly so tight. I mean, there are definitely tickets available but they're EXPENSIVE! Hopefully the prices come down closer to the day of the concert.

Just got a reply from the LVPHC regarding registration confirmation for LMS.
"It is a call list at the registration desk. Bring your receipt just in case."

If you go to the box office around noon the day of the show you'll probably get seats. They may not be together. I don't know anyone who has done this and come back empty handed. We even had a couple of BN'ers get front row once.
Great! Thank you for this info.

(anyone a NASCAR fan? I've got a bead necklace that has two cars on it - #3 car - don't have a clue as to it's significance...)
3 days of work to go......

That #3 bead is mine! #3 was The Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt, one of the all time best in the sport and tragically killed during a race some years back. I loved him and haven't been able to watch NASCAR since. I have pics of me and my son with matching #3 jackets.

Hey, hey, 5 is plenty! Got any more beach balls for me? I still have the inflatable shark you gave me in Vegas '08; that sucker has held air since the '09 Frisco tailgate when I had all the BNrs autograph it. Lost my pirate beach ball, though.

You have dibs on that necklace, and I do have a Pirate beach ball for ya too! And I still have my shark from the '08 concert with signatures on it - still holds air. I have only 1 shark to bring this time - don't know if I toss it to the crowds, or keep it for signatures.....

KEEP IT! And let me sign it. Or sign it again....I don't remember, thinking I didn't sign it. The only signature of mine I remember dwells on a surfboard at Hooters! No, no, no...I didn't say I did it...just some random person who thought it would be cool to autograph a surfboard a la Piratenurse. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
