We have now booked flight and hotel and staying where we usually do at the Desert Rose. Now just crossing our fingers that the volcanic ash does not spoil everything and we make it for the show but seeing we have booked to get to Vegas on the 15th October if any delays hopefully we should be there. Just so looking forward to everything.

Got an email from the limo service for the party bus. Economy must be hitting them, rates are down. If we get 20 people to sign up, it will cost a big ole $6/hr per person; $24 for 4 hours. That's gotta be one of the cheapest ways to have phun in Vegas for that long! I'll be starting an interest/sign up thread after Frisco.

Wow, that is a good rate. Once the interest thread starts I sure will sign up.

Good point... I'm actually planning on staying until Monday this time rather than leaving on Sunday Afternoon, and planning on arriving on Thursday....

(My problem is that I'll get in trouble if I don't let my "travel agent" make the arrangements, and I still haven't heard from her about my planned August trip ) (Oh well, I can still see about getting the only thing that really matters, a ticket to the concert...but that's never been really hard to do, I'll probably do it this weekend...)

I am so staying till Monday, too! I'll never forget having to get up at 5:00am Sunday to catch a flight home in '08. Never again.

I have not been to Vegas since seeing the GD there in 94. I think this might be fun!!

I am a Thursday arrival and Monday departure - as I have been for the last 4 years. Just easier. Though two years ago, I got in really late on Wednesday, which was actually nice.

Looking forward to Vegas.....NOT looking forward that this is day 11 at work and I have 2 more days to go!
