If you made 2 double bed reservations at the Lewisville La Quinta for Friday night but did not get reservations made in time for the cheaper rate please let me know as soon as possible. We may be able to get them lowered a little but not as good as the original deal.

Rockin Parrodise (The venue for the party) is offering a shuttle between La Quinta and Rockin Parrodise.

She is charging $5 per person each way.

We will give contact information for the rides at the La Quinta front desk.

It's not going to rain saturday and don't even think it!

For Saturday I'm seeing scattered storms with a 40 percent chance of rain. If it's really bad around 2 we can wait it out at the Sneaky Pete's bar. If we get out there and we need to dodge a storm, my marina here has a sister marina on Lewisville. If we need to, we can move to a dock party over there while we wait it out.

Rain = get in the lake or get in the cabin.
Lightning = pull up anchor and head to the marina.

I'm seeing 30%, but I believe with some offerings to the Tiki gods, it should be fine. And anyway, we're with Mr Play, who is always the man with the plan! Geez, I can't wait!

Hello Phriends!


WOW what a night! If I knew turning 50 was going to be that much fun I would have done it sooner, but then I woke up this morning and I take that back. LOL TEQUILA IS EVIL!


Thanks to everyone for coming out and making the evening a HUGE success. It was great being with all of the people I love.

Thanks to Trish and her staff at Rockin’ Parrodise for helping me get this together. The staff mentioned how excited they were to have us there and how great we were. They also said we were excellent tippers. THANKS FOR THAT!


We raised $742 from the raffle that benefited Big Brothers and Big Sisters and our Bowling for Kids Sake teams (Which was a Phun success today) Congrats to Landy! He won the grand prize of the liquor bucket. Thanks to Joe and Michelle, Darvi and Jon (He makes the buckets), Ashley and Kimmie for helping out and setting up the raffle.

Yes, it was a great party! Saturday at the lake was also so much phun, even though we had to wait out the rain for 4 hours and I fell off the boat. Nope, not overserved, just coordinationally challenged! Thanks to the Pharms and Mr(Dr) Play for the boats and hospitality....and the first aid kit! I have some great pics from Friday night I will post later.

Thanks Greg for sharing your birthday, it was a great party! We had such a great time! Also had a terrific time on Saturday on the lake, Thanks to Danny, Lori and Bill for the boats and Bill the K-bobs were great.
