No shít. After some minor debate among the members of the Metropolitan Historic Zoning Commission, it looks like Margaritaville has made it to Broadway. While this won't be Jimmy's first stab at the Great White Way (I'm thinking of Don't Stop The Carnival here) it will be the first time his food products will make their debut.
According to the article, "The $10 million restaurant also will get windows that open to let in fresh air, despite earlier concerns by preservationists that such a design wouldn't be historically accurate for the area."
Thanks Mr. Twain for the info. I needed to look up where that address is and do see it is in lower Manhattan. I was thinking this was closer to Times Square....if that was the case "historically accurate" didn't make much sense me. If you've ever been to Times Square you don't leave there feeling like you just visited an "historical area".
I really think it is the Nashville locations they rae referring to. Check the Nashville thread. There was an article recently about the open windows getting approved.
