I need an artist with just a bit of time for a small bit of work.
If you are swamped (surfpirate) I understand. I just need something
re done with some color in it. And I am terrible at this kind of thing.

LOL I told him it was pretty much clear as mud. He's going to come in tomorrow and be more specific about what he needs.

I have crayons ..... and a yellow highlighter.
I still have trouble staying in the lines, though.

I realize I should have been a bit more specific but I couldn't without giving away my plan. Since I have already done so (to Connie) I may as well let you all in on it too.
When we are in Texas later this month I want to get my first (probably last) tat. My design is one you have all seen but it's strictly black and white and I thought a little color might be nice.
this is the design....

I am thinking the dream catcher and feathers need some color and of course the words from the flag "you are not forgotten" needs to be added to it somewhere too. Maybe in an arc across the top.

Niiiiiiiice. Been wearing a bracelet since 1986. I'd leave the silhouette B &W, go for wood appearance on the dreamcatcher frame, and go eagle feather style on the feathers. Your artist ought to be able to color it up for you. Should be flash sheets hanging on the wall to use as an example for the colors you want.

Yeah the plan is to leave the silhouette alone. Hadn't thought about a wood appearance on the frame though.
thanks.

Let me also add that the tat artist is someone my son is familiar with and likes his work. My son is going to get appointments set up.

Definitely leave it up to the artist. He'd be more aware of what looks good on skin and what he has the ability to do. You might come up with colors that maybe wouldn't work too well as a tat. If possible, email him the art before hand and let him email you back some sketches with color to see what it'd look like.
