I received an email this morning from "Yahoo" wanting me to verify my account information or it would be deactivated.
It looked legit but it just didn't sit as legit with me considering my Yahoo is an active account....so I contacted Yahoo.
IT IS A PHISHING SCAM!
They were impressed with all the graphics, etc. It still wasn't sent by them.
Figured I would post something here as a reminder to be careful out there.

Thanks Janice! I haven't checked my email yet this morning, going to do so now. I'll be on the lookout for that email.

Re: Attention Yahoo email users
I've seen that one before. Didn't fall for it either.
As a rule I don't respond to any unsolicited email from anyone.
If it seems to be from a source I deal with then I contact them
directly (usually through their security department) and find out
if they know what's going on.
