I don't know how many BNers watch Glee. They have explored a lot of different styles of music. What would parrotheads think about the Glee kids performing a Buffett tune? Which one would you like to see on the show?

Don't watch it. Went with boobies.

I watch it. I love it. I went with awesomeness!!! (But, I was also a chorus geek in high school, and I think voting will be done based on what people remember of their own high school time and not the show itself.)

I went with sacrilege, but from the opposite side of things- Buffett just doesn't fit in Glee, and if they did anything, it'd be Margaritaville or Cheeseburger, and those are songs I don't even want to watch Jimmy sing. It's not brilliantly musical or hugely cliched, so it just doesn't fit.

Although I could totally warm up to Survive next year if Jesse and Rachael are still together.

I'd rather listen to an Anita Bryant song then be subjected to that

Don't watch the show but if it ever does happen, I'm sure there will be product placement somewhere. Then, you'll get Glee t-shirts showing up on Margaritaville.com. Then, it will be Glee-flavored energy drink. And so on, and so on...

But I do agree with other folks that from my limited knowledge of the show (my wife watches it), I don't think Buffett fits.

Yeah they could have a beach party with landshark and the tequila. They could wear the flip flops and eat chips and salsa. shrimp on the bar-b-q

I'm a huge fan of Glee and a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett. Putting the two of them together would be like eating a shushi and banana split ice cream sundae. Separated they are both delicious but together........

My first move was to vote for sacrilege but I do love boobies......

I like Glee and yes I'm straight...but I just don't see high school kiddos appreciating the music.

I think some Buffett songs have universal appeal - my 13 and 15 year olds love most of the Yellow Album.

Glee has done some really strange mashups, and somehow has made them work; I can see them doing something fun with one of the "radio" tunes like M'ville or Cheeseburger or Volcano or 5 O'clock.
