Weird Buffett karma @ Lakewood in Atlanta

Some may have heard that a movie/television studio is leasing the fairgrounds at Lakewood in Atlanta. It involves the portion of the property that includes the old Southeastern Fairgrounds and the old buildings that sit on the hill that butt up against the back wall of the amphitheater. (This lease doesn't include the amphitheater itself which will remain in operation under the lease with LiveNation.) I've been down there doing engineering work that includes some inspection work along the back of the amphitheater wall which has scattered about some beach balls, flip-flops, pieces of broken leis and empty drink containers. Piles of sand can still be seen in the parking lot and I'm not so sure that the past leasee didn't have a room on the top of building four setup to watch the shows as you can see the stage from a room that had a series of theater type seating and a bar placed in front of a window.

Anyway, Friday I'm down there with a geo-probe company and I go to move my car only to discover Margaritaville being played on the local classic rock station. I had a sudden flashback to a month and a half ago just didn't have the crowds all over the place.....or a cold beer. :pirate:
