For those of you wondering, the Facebook page says:

The Jimmy Buffett & Friends concert has been postponed. Increased surf conditions caused by Tropical Storm Alex are expected for the next couple days threatening the stability of the stage set-up and making it impossible to assure the safety of the area. Tickets for the July 1 concert will be honored when the concert is rescheduled for a later date. At this time, we do not know when the show will be rescheduled, but it will not be during the upcoming holiday weekend. As soon as we have further information, we will make it available.

We have calls in to the Governors office for an update along with a call in to CMT. This has so far only been reported on this facebook page, which has also been removed.

Alabama Governor's office has not heard anything about this news yet and were calling down to Gulf Shores. Will keep you updated as I hear anything.

Local TV station running the bottom line news say "BREAKING NEWS: MULTIPLE SOURCES ARE TELLING LOCAL 15 NEWS THAT THE JIMMY BUFFETT CONCERT IN GULF SHORES IS LIKELY TO BE POSTPONED OR CANCELLED.
