Jonathon and the Shrimpers

I've been listening to the 12-5-03 broadcast from the Key West Margaritaville, you know the one where I hope Jimmy was sitting down because he sure was not in any shape to be standing up. But what I would like to know is more about the band that was playing with him. From the way the talk went it sounded like they were a local band that played at the M'ville. Are they still around? If so, where? I would like to know more about them.

(I love this broadcast! So how do I put this so I don't sound like a patronizing b***h? I like the conversation sections because I suspect that it much more like Jimmy talks normally off stage, out of the spotlight, with friends, instead of the somewhat scripted talk that we hear at the shows. Am I making any sense. And besides, the singing is a hoot.)

I fell in love with Jonathon when I heard him on this show so have been checking back periodically to see how he is doing. Here is his new website. And for those of you in the Key West area he is going to be at Margaritaville Thanksgiving week.
