No, sorry, but I'm interested if you find any!

I used a cold MexiCoke this evening, same thing- the ice cream was from a Costco trip and pretty soft- they were probably fairly close in temp. I think it just does that.

Amazingly enough though, I think they might taste better with corn syrup coke than the good stuff!

Try using a root beer made with real cane sugar. Usually in a bottle, and try using real ice cream, none of the cheap stuff, only the best.

It foams regardless of the temp or the kind of root beer (cane vs corn syrup) Something with the carbonation and the ice cream mixing together (does it on all other type of floats too)

Pour the root beer in first. Then drop in the ice cream. You get less foam that way. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?

wayne- my brother owns a diner/ice cream shop. It doesn't matter what kind of ice cream (we have 19% butterfat)...it's the carbonation causing the foam to kinda freeze up.....

Would love to try this
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
