and Boise and TCU need to man up and join real conferences like Utah is doing or suffer the effects of your poor schedule and cry about getting jumped.

and I think MSU will run the table and get shut out of the BCS......and then the alarms will really start going off.
Are you saying MSU will get shut out due to unbeatens Auburn/Oregon/Missouri or an unbeaten Boise State/TCU/Utah?

Also, there are various criteria regarding "manning up" to move to a different coference.

Boise could have jumped into the pac10 race but they didnt, if your conference stinks and no one wants you then go Independent.

and I think one of those 3 will go undefeated and the SEC slappies will for the first time jump Alabama with one loss over a undefeated BCS conference school.

since my team (FSU) is out of it I might as well root for Boise State to make it to the NC or a one loss team jump an undefeated. We need it to be a screwed up as possible....as if it has not already been.

Totally disagree. Mizzou WILL NOT go undefeated (may lose this weekend to Nebraska) & Auburn WILL NOT go undefeated. Oregon still has a long road to hoe (USC, Arizona, Oregon State).
Boise would have to increase academic standards to enter the PAC 10-12. They may have to spend some more $$ to upgrade athletic facilities as well. Not sure about that but it's possible. Independent......that's not a logical OR realistic option!
Bottom line is keep winning Sparty & I believe everything will take care of itself (as much as I hate to say it). :x

Thank you Dr. C. for explaining to some people that you can not just move up to a bigger and better conference by asking to join. Some people think it is just like moving apartments and it is not. Much more involved, and a lot has to do with academics and facilities, not just football.

Talking about manning up, we had Utah (yes that #8 in the BCS Utah) scheduled for another 3 games for 2011, 2012, and 2013 (scheduled from back in 2006 after we beat them for the 1st of the 4 games) and they just payed the fine to get out of those games. We waxed them hard in SLC and they want no part of it again. Maybe they should be the "Ducks" and not Oregon?

USC just might beat Oregon. They have been under the radar because of 2 losses but can and will play the roll of spoiler.

I think Alabama will beat Auburn.

I also think Mizzou will lose to Nebraska.

I also think to BSU will go undefeated and not be in the NC game, and agree they have a weak schedule (possibly 3 top 25 teams on it), but to keep them out simply because they are a non AQ school is just wrong. I love the idea of BSU being that thorn in the side of the BCS as it starts to fester then explodes. Playoffs are coming.

Michigan St next week at Iowa if they win that they should win out.

Missouri if they can win at Nebraska next week, still have a championship game in the Big 12. Could play OU again.

Oregon still has USC, Cal and Arizona

TCU has Utah & San Diego State

Boise has Nevada & Hawaii left.

Bama has LSU, MIss State & Auburn

Stanford should win out.

Fla State has Flordia left

Okla State has Baylor, Texas and OU left..

Nebraska only has MU left, they could win out.

It is going to be fun to watch.... Boise State should try to get in the Big 12 and take Colorado's spot then bring along TCU to take Nebraskas...

Boise would love that, especially after we got into the MWC to try and improve our conference/schedule, only to have BYU (Independent), Utah (PAC 10) and now most likely TCU (Big East) leave for another conference...

What? No love for Bucky's boys, 7-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play after beating Minnesota, Ohio (was ranked #1 at the time, remember?) and Iowa in consecutive weeks?

It's not like Wisconsin just beat San Jose State and Toledo.

No, they did that on 9/11/10 and only won by 13 at home...

Wisconsin over OSU was frigging awesome, loved that game.

I just want to wish Baylor good luck this weekend in Austin. I hope they beat t.u. just like K State. I am looking forward to who Mac blames this week for the lost.

I think this is the first time Baylor has been in the top 25 in many years...

As a die hard SWC gal, I am still so shocked to see TCU ranked so high.

The announcers made an interesting comment on the Iowa St/t.u. game... Iowa St. has the toughest schedule out of any team out there, just not the Big 12.

One of my many alma maters, Nassau Community College, is 8-0 and they've outscored their opponents 284-71. Other than that, I got nothin'

Watched the game tonight........If MSU faced Boise in a Bowl game I would be thrilled. Our backs would bulldoze that defense.

Wow...hadn't heard about the TCU rumor.
Yeah, it's too bad Utah & BYU are bugging out. MWC could have had a decent amount of cache with Boise on board with the other 3 (equal to or greater than the Big East).
The way the chips are falling this year REALLY makes me more p*** than ever that the BCS matched up TCU & Boise last year. If you would have put 1 of them up against Florida last year in the Sugar Bowl that would have been a helluva lot better.

Just like they "Bulldozed" for 89 yards against that "awesome" defense of San Diego State? Luckily Moe is a stud receiver or you would have lost that game...

Yep that BSU defense looked horrible. I was not happy about that. They don't always play that bad and EVERY team has a bad defensive day once in awhile so don't assume they would play that way against Mizzou...

A rocking victory last night...sadly I imagine most of the US didn't see Boise State play...I mean who expects a candidate for National Champions to be playing a game on a Tuesday night on ESPN2?

Cheers

Boo boo on you Idaho fins. It was MSU Sparty calling out your D, not Mizzou. Having said that, I'd be interested to see how Sparty's D stops Your "O".

OOOOPS!
There are some talks around town (I know some people in the loop) that there might be a 1 and 1 with MSU in the works. I would love to go back for that game and see the campus...

What can you say, they needed that ESPN money. Hated it myself. Was not a big fan of the AP #1 Oregon playing on a thursday either...

I didn't see them play last night.
Not because I didn't try to watch, but those damb blue pants/uniforms
on that damb smurf field gave me too much of a headache.

They should be banned from television on their home turf.
It's gimicky and stupid and unwatchable.
