I am up WAY too early from the events of last night...
Damb that was a good game.
We knew the Nebraska coaches were jerks... watching their reactions during the game just fired up the 12th Man...
I just saw this on TexAgs - the Aggie blog I follow... click on the link and watch the video...
Hey guys,
Here is the Carl Pelini business in slow motion:
http://v4.texags.com/Stories/767
Here is my official account of the incident:
At the conclusion of the game, I ran out onto the field with my video camera to capture the post celebrations of the players and coaches. When I reached approximately mid field (near the east hash marks), I came upon Carl Pelini verbally lashing a gentlemen on the field. I directed my camera toward the commotion and captured the Nebraska coach as he began to walk away. As Carl turned, his eye caught my camera and the fact that I might have captured some of the exchange. What happened next was truly bazaar. From about 10 feet away, he charged straight for me and for the camera that I was holding. By the time he reached me, I already had my camera by side. He grabbed the camera and I battled to maintain possession of it. Unable to gain possession of it, he broke the eye piece off in several pieces and threw them into the surrounding crowd. He then stormed off. The surrounding crowd helped me recover the pieces of my camera.
Also, there is no audio because, like an idiot, I forgot to put the shotgun mic back on the camera after coming down from the photo deck with 3 minutes remaining. As a result, I got zero audio.

That's just crazy! As is Pelini, I guess.
Very entertaining game, considering nobody scored a TD.

As I read through TexAgs... they have the clip of him cursing out the QB - i think that is when the bench was called for unsportsmanlike conduct... I knew the coach was "chatting" with him, but I didn't realize the extent of it.
I wish we could have capitalized more on those penalties.. but in the end, a win is a win is a win....
I do have to say that the Nebraska fans were awesome! We had some in our section and were great. Much better than the t.u. fans last year or the tech fans this year.

I'm sorry but if you believe that they are alone.. you are wrong..
every Major program breaks the rules in one way or 5 others.. some mean to..
some can't read too well

and some break rules they don't know exist
A few kids getting their grades boosted some at every school...I'd buy that, but have you seen the investigation going on??? This isnt a Ncaa thing they started. This was uncovered by the FBI!!!!!!! That doesnt happen at every school, This is a RICO investigation....you know Organized Crime, that isnt happening at every school. This is the stuff that if proven (and the feds usually win 90% of their cases) will get Auburn stripped of its Accreditation which means it will become a fake garbage school like ITT tech. Its beyond just Cam Newton

Carl finally comes clean and apologizes
“I apologize for the events that occurred after Saturday night's game at Texas A&M. It was a very emotional situation and the mob scene on the field after the game amplified that. Having been involved in a similar situation in 2003 at Missouri, and in witnessing the situation on the field, I made a poor decision in trying to prevent a reporter from recording the scene. I have acknowledged this from the very beginning. Unfortunately, in trying to prevent a scene, I created one. We have been in contact with Brandon Jones and I have apologized to him directly for putting my hands on his camera. I offered to pay for any damages to the camera, but Brandon indicated there were none.
“Unfortunately, Bo did not have all the facts prior to yesterday's press conference and wasn't fully prepared for the question. Hopefully, this statement will erase all doubts about the situation and allow everyone to put it behind us. Again, I apologize for any negative publicity this has caused for our football program, Athletic Department and the University of Nebraska.”
You can read the response to the apology here:

I hope that the Sherminator has the team focused and ready to play. They can't underestimate t.u. right now. It would make their year if they kept us from a chance at the south title.
There are going to be a lot of Aggies in Austin. They were able to pick up the tickets t.u. fans didn't want. That will help the team.
I wouldn't say its foriegn but its been A LONG TIME since we have been there.
My worry is a blue norther is coming in tomorrow morning. Its going do drop about 40 degrees from sunrise to kickoff.

AGS WIN!!!!!
It was a hot time in Austin last night!
If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State, we have a chance at the Big 12 Championship game. We would play Nebraska again. I'm not for sure I want that to happen.
Hopefully we will get a good bowl game. Talk is Holiday, Cotton or Alamo.
I did have to chuckle at the Ohio St. President's comments about TCU. It continues the debate on if they and others should be ranked as high as they are.

IF Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State, there will be a three-way tie atop the South Division. No. 10 Oklahoma State (10-1, 6-1) wins the South title outright if the Cowboys can break a seven-game losing streak in the Bedlam rivalry against No. 14 Oklahoma (9-2, 5-2). In the case of a three-way tie in the South,
the BCS standings would determine which team goes to the Big 12's last scheduled championship game Dec. 4 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

What a second half comeback by Auburn........
People say you need to be both good and lucky to win an NCAA National Football Championship.....and I think Auburn is both!
After a slow start, #1 Oregon beats Arizona.....looks like it could be an Auburn-Oregon BCS title game.
Boise State gets beaten in OT by Nevada......that ends their slim hopes of a BCS title. I know that the "experts" complain about the Boise State schedule and they have some valid points. But that team is entertaining to watch!

Gee........and I didn't even realize it was rivalry weekend........
Final score.....Bucknuts 37........M.Go.Boo.Hoo. 7.
Tough break for Boise State this weekend. I'm not a Bronco booster but hated to see them go down due to missing a chippie field goal.
