I bought his two x-rated albums off of ebay years back. It's on there though it's really not that bad (a couple of f-bombs).
I read that Jimmy did not like that David's song "Divers Do It Deeper" sounded a little like Changes in Latitudes. David Allan Coe lived in the keys for a while and made this song in response. Supposedly there was a lady there that got sick of people asking about Jimmy so she put a bumper sticker on her door. that read "Jimmy Buffett doesn't live in Key West anymore"

Is *THAT* what David Allan Coe looks like? Judas H. Priest!!!

Seriously, fella, live and let live. You just keep on making money with that 'outlaw' schtick of yours and let Jimmy do his thing, and at the end of the day it doesn't make a whole lot of difference to nobody.

I heard an interview with David Alan Coe a couple of years ago on sirius 63 (outlaw country). Mr. Coe said that he actually likes Jimmy, that they were both in the Key West at the same time and used to hang out together.

I wonder what Jimmy's take is?............

Songwriter's Lament - Pat Dailey

I think it's available on iTunes
