I found the chords for take another road,but it doesnt have the intro,and it shows a c9 in the chords,but I dont think thats right.Anybody on here play this song,could help me out,I sure would appreciate it!

Im not sure this is correct, but I like the way it sounds...
on the verse I use a G but I add a D note on the B string...& then a C9 as you said..toggle between those two chords & it makes a pretty sound, & it sounds like the song to me.
In the chorus I just use an open G & C..
This is probably a "no-no" in technical terms...but I can live with it
