and I'll regret it in four months but...........................I'm Sick of Summer. I can't even say out loud what my ac bill has been this summer. In a shore town two blocks from the beach and I had no choice but to keep it running constantly. It feels too hot to do anything.

move to Seattle. It rarely gets warm enough for home a/c in Seattle. Of course it's not warm enough to swim in anything but a heated pool.

I don't even have A/C. But... it gets -30 in the winter on a regular basis. I'll stick with summer as long as it will have me. 8)

We've had the air on more this summer than ever before. I thought someone played a trick on us and switched Michigan and Texas. However in checking with Molly and others, it was even hotter/humider?? there!

Usually our utility bills in the summer are pretty much nothing (it stays light until 10 p.m. and it is usually pretty comfortable temperature wise.)

Fall is looking might attractive. Come on pretty leaves and cool temps! :D

Same here in NS, ocg . . . when my Jersey g/f, who lives in Long Branch came here in July for two weeks, she thought it would be cooler. 'Twas not to be. Our A/C has been used a great deal!

Wait until winter......your heating bill will take over!

But, I agree, way too many days in the mid and upper 90s for the mid-Atlantic area this summer..... :o

Now that I'm not in the school cycle anymore...hell, that's been half a lifetime now
I really don't mind the onset of Fall at all... and it's been a mild summer here in SD

October is one of my favorite months of the year, anyways 8)

I'd take it hot everyday if I could.
It does not even phase me, perhaps because I love being outdoors and work outdoors for the most part. There is life out there. Don't let it stop you.

We've had a really hot summer, at least by NY/LI standards, but I've hardly used my a/c. I haven't had to use it at night at all and I haven't had any trouble sleeping.

While I sympathize with the AC bill..... give me summer ANY time.

I was out working or playing on the hottest days of the summer (101 degrees, 95 humidity.) Drenched, hot, even kinda tired... but NOT freezing my arse off.

Come on Jimmy.... keep summer going as LONG as possible...... 8)

I like summer and I loved the heat, but now it's the time of year where the heat makes me feel really miserable :( (i.e. the trees/flowers all release their pollen, etc...)

That may be part of it. I went most of the year, until about three weeks ago with no allergy and then bam.

Nice, hot summer here. No complaints. 8)

Especially after last year's summer was so cool.

Amen!!! This is the first time in my life I haven't taken summer for granted and enjoyed every minute of, I don't want to see it end!

Sorry, I'll take the cold. I can always put on more clothes (or blankets, or logs on the fire) to stay warm; but there's only so much I can take off before I end up in the hoosegow!

What's been so bad about the heat here in southcentral PA is that is just hasn't cooled off a night this summer.......muggy all the time.

Without AC in the house it would have been much worse.

But then again, you don't have to shovel "hot"......... :o  :pirate:

I'm with Chris...this is my kind of weather...the AC was on a bit more than usual on the really gruesome humid days but I'll take this over last year's rainy summer any time.
