Dogs LOVE it...I rub it on the deer antlers that Anne Bonny has here... ( to chew on)..and she can't get enough of them when I've just rubbed it on!

Knowing hunters is nice...Dogs can chew on those antlers for months before even putting a dent in them.... I read to put anise on them, and I always have it....I love it too Cate...She goes nuts for it!

One variant is aniseed, and that's how I say anise, leaving off the d. I don't know why!
The Canadian Oxford Dictionary explains that aniseed is the seed (duh!). And gives the anis pronunciation for anise, and the one you'd expect for aniseed.

Let's talk about the strange carvings, now!

Fried pickles, okra and green tomatoes. Mmm....I'll have to try fried chocolate chip cookies.

Ok. Now that I think about it...it's not strange.

White Castle cheeseburgers...New England apparently doesn't have White Castles and those frozen freezer boxes just don't cut it. Whenever the keet and I go back to NJ to visit our first stop is the White Castle drive through.
