How about it? Got a name for this tasty morsel?
I have already submitted an entry.

"Meat the Ripper"

Heart surgeons everywhere are smiling.

A Bellevue restaurant is offering a burger that defines excess: 12 ounces of ground meat, tempura-fried bacon and onion rings between two grilled-cheese sandwiches. Want fries with that? But of course.

But what to name this fat fest? John Howie Steak, which is in The Shops at The Bravern in Bellevue, had called it the "Triple Bypass."

If I was a cardiologist and/or a lawyer specializing in estate planning, I'd setup shop next door.

John Howie's Huge Meat

On a different, but still food-related, note, I read an article the other day about a restaurant in NYC that has 100-layer lasagna. I'd like to go there and order it just to count the layers and make sure there are 100.

mehhh. That's nothing. Try the "Top Dog" at the Top Dawg in Mindoro, WI:
Image
64-ounce patty (that's FOUR POUNDS, people!), lettuce, bun, onions, and four kinds of cheeses. If you ask, I'm sure they'll also give you a pickle and a tomato slice or two.
(ps — that's the owner of the place in the picture, not me)
Usually feeds five or six, but one person (who requested anonymity) managed to chow down on one of these in just under an hour....washing it down with two 14-ounce mugs of beer.
Since they are located on Wisconsin hwy 108, they also offer "the 108er" — a 108-ounce marinated butt sirloin steak.

Just remember, though — if you come here to eat one, *real* men also order dessert.
