Very cool. And there is no way I could just stand there and let a plane fly that close to me. I'd have to change my underwear.

Re: Top 10 Low Pass Flyby's Of All Time
A good friend of mine's dad flew a Cessna (with two other guys in it) under an overpass on the Purchase Parkway here in my town. The guys almost had heart attacks and if the FAA had known that he did that, they would have put him UNDER the jail basement !!!!!!!! He was known for being a showboat/crazy/funny guy. But that was too much.

Sitting in the third deck of Kyle Field for the football games, we get some pretty close fly overs before the game starts.
Last week, they made one pass, looped back around, and did another.

I must be wishing on someone else's star....

That was WAY cool! I spent 11 years of my life going to airshows that my ex performed in so I am lucky enough to have seen lots of those. That last one was amazing, I'm wondering if it was during the San Francisco airshow that's done over water. I want to go to that show someday!

I don't know who is crazier--the pilots OR the people standing there letting them fly over them

I remember some manevers off the coast of NC a few years back that involved planes flying so low and/or breaking the sound barrier that they were shattering windows on boats out at sea. Not cool and they were reported, as well they should have been.

Sunday's F-18 flyover at the Super Bowl cost $109,00 in fuel, with additional expenses making a total cost up to $450,000. Maybe worth it, maybe not, but THE ROOF WAS CLOSED!
