All I can say is that I got one - yes ONE right. But at least I'm not as in the dark as my son's g/f's mom was. This is taken from her facebook page and is about her mom.

"What does IDK mean?" -mom
"I dont' know" -me
..."Well why do you use it if you don't know what it means?" - mom
"No, IDK = I don't know" - me
"Yeah, so why do you use it?" -mom
"SIGH!!" -me
Meanwhile my mom asks my dad what it means and he says, "I dont know?!" Then she gets it and I quote types in, "LOL"
I'm like, "How do you know what LOL means but don't know what IDK means?!!"

If people text me in code I have to decipher, I tell them to either text in full words what you are going to say, or call me, otherwise it must not be important enough for me to give a crap about.
