Who cares. Dates will be announced when they are firmed up with the venue and the promoter. This from someone who first saw Jimmy in 1977 and has been to so many concert since then. It is actually pretty easy to figure out. At 64, he travels to places that he enjoys.

Feeling good that dates will be released this week. If you review the timeline last year, a lot of dates were released in early Feb including Frisco....keep your Fins crossed.

FC Dallas announced their schedule today. There is a home game on May 14, so that's out, but May 21 is open. . . that date would be PERFECT!

Dallas FC has a game in Frisco on May 22 (sunday 6pm). If JB plays the night before, I wonder if they can breakdown and prep the field for the game. Maybe this will get pushed into June??

I saw that, too, but I'm not really concerned. The set-up and break down is amazingly quick. I see no reason they shouldn't be able to be ready for the game the next night.

I know we want a Sat show, but do you think he might come another day???

I help out with audio/tech for a portable church in Cedar Park, TX. Breaking down is always easier and quicker. Plus I believe the stage at PHP is a permanent install, right? They would only need to pack the band's gear, PA and lights.

Also, the way thing$ are looking right now, we might have to miss the show this year.

We have decided to go to Jazz Fest this year rather than do the full blown Frisco thang, we will probably go to the show but no camper and all night party with the FFF crew this year. Couldn't pass up the sweet deal we have for Jazz Fest, friend of a friend rented a house 2 blocks from Jazz Fest grounds.....Sweeeeeeeeet

If I remember correctly, 2 years ago they had a Saturday concert &
a soccer game on the following Sunday evening.

So May 21st is a possibility.

Two years ago there was an FC Dallas game on the Sunday after the Saturday night JB concert. We were told that we had to be out of the parking lot by noon. It didn't seem to be a problem for Pizza Hut Park to have the two events on consecutive days.

6 more inches of snow this week in Tulsa--so that makes over 20" on the ground within 8 days at our house. We are supposed to be in the 70's next week. We'll be breaking out the flip flops and JB shirts. Crazy weather here this year! Hope the Frisco date is announced soon.

After missing Frisco last year.........I would REALLY love for that date to be announced. Seriously.

It will all be gone "Come Monday" !! But I'm with you, the SOONER Frisco is announced, the more it will feel like summer is right around the corner...

Same thing on my Droid. I can see the date and time of the last post in each forum, but when I click on the forum there's no date or time for the last post in each individual thread or the posts within the threads when I open them.

they did two years back.. I was at Rudi's eating Dinner with some BNers the night after FFFII
and we had the Game on the Telly

I guess I want company in my misery. I called Comfort Suites in Frisco a few minutes ago. They said they dont believe Jimmy is playing Pizza Hut Park this year. Still hoping this is not official and they are basing it on our frustration. The lady just said its what they were told. I am going to pout now.Happy Valentines Day!
