Everyone I know who has had one says it is the most unpleasant experience. I guess it's more pleasant than colon cancer. And they actually put you out, or at least in twilight sedation for it...it's not the procedure itself...it's the prepping for the procedure that seems to be most uncomfortable.

The only bad part is not being able to eat the day before. I use the pills, and that's not so bad. There are so many funny stories about things people have done and said when they are coming out of the 'twilight' !!
The first thing I want when it's over is a big HUGE cheeseburger !! I had a colonoscopy last year and the Dr. told me I don't have to come back for 10 years !!! YEEHAW !!

Had one last year and got a clean bill of health afterwards. Yes, the prep is the worst part but it's still not bad compared to the alternative. Two and A Half Men had a real funny episode on this a year or so ago when Charlie went in for one.
