I agree......I wouldn't want to drink this brew a lot, but in winter it does hit the spot! I'm a big fan of Sam Adams family of beers..... :pirate:
Me too. :D

I don't think they sell that here. I didn't see it at the liquor store, now that being said, I wasn't actually looking for it so it COULD be here and I didn't see any.

The Sam Adams samplers (and others, too) are a great way to try new brews and give some variety to your beer tasting experience...... :pirate:

OK, time to get this thread going again...... :pirate:

While no longer a seasonal beer, but now available year-round, I had my first Brooklyn Brewing's Brown Ale on the 4th while waiting for the charcoal grill to fire up. Very smooth, nice aftertaste...... [smilie=coolup.gif]

I'm curious what other fellow BNers enjoyed while grilling over the long holiday weekend.......?????

I like to try the summer type bears that come out about now - like Summer Wheats or Summer Shandys.

One of our local breweries, Yazoo, has a hefeweizen that I love. It has a little bit of a banana flavor to it and needs no fruit.

summer is my least favorite beer season

i'd kinda like to try the Sam Adams Kolsch that is out now, but it's only available in the variety packs, and i don't want the summer ales and lights that come in the box with it :-?

I'd say send it to me but I generally don't like Sam Adams.

I haven't really tried any seasonals lately. I did just see this one though, a little late, but I may try to find it and give it a whirl, as I do like a good wheat ale in the summertime.

definitely a seasonal (if you consider "seasonal" as year-round)

Today's selections of beers and styles is amazing thanks to regional microbrewers...... [smilie=coolup.gif]

It wasn't that long ago that beer drinkers only had their "choice" of Bud, Miller, Pabst, and the like...... :o

It's a good time to be a beer lover...... [smilie=hearts.gif]

Best fruity beer I ever had was at a place called "Barley Brothers" in Lake Havasu, AZ....

It was this:
Trippleberry Wheat
A refreshing pastel wheat beer blended with cranberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

I am loving the Flying Dog Raging Biotch. But then again, it is something like 8.3% alcohol.
