Paris 2011 announcement

Post by peterb »

Hi, I just got a mail from GDP that Jimmy will once again play Olympia, this time on Monday 26 September 2011.
I can't believe they announced it so soon but it seems genuine. Tickets go on sale this wednesday at 10am local time.

The monday is a bummer for me, much rather would have liked another Friday or Saturday evening but I guess we can't have it all. Phins up.
Pls excuse my Eurotrash accent

I keep telling Jimmy: he needs to look at my work calendar before he makes these decisions! (It's posted on the Internet, for h's sake!)
Of course, if we have an election next fall, as we should, I could be free that week in September....

I had the same email. If you look at the Olympia site it is quite booked up in September with Charles Aznavour so think he will only be playing there on the Monday. Perhaps we can hope for the Coral Reefers at the New Morning around then. Just hope I can get some good tickets and this is a nice Christmas present.

My good friend Cheryl sent me the email. So we will be waking up at 1:45 am Wednesday morning to get our tickets. I have the seating chart but can't remember how it went? Even to stage left odd to the right? This will be spectacular to see old friends and new in Paris.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Brighton the ski area or Brighton in the UK? I can't wait to see the shirts for this year. Dutch needs to be tossing the swag!

SSSHHH, don't tell anyone, I like keeping this our little secret, we don't want huge crowds. Just our 1500 friends and neighbors at the Olympia.
