It's a scam.
Her facebook page had been hacked and someone pretending to be her sent a message to me and corey saying she had been mugged in London. This was the same as the emails being sent a few years ago from folks hacking into people email accounts
I need to get in touch with her so that one of her friends doesn't fall for it and wire money or give them a credit card #.

OK - just talked to Grams! She is NOT in London and HAS not been mugged! She is however on her way to the casinos in Shreveport so she might REALLY instant message us all later is she loses it all on the craps tables!

I thought this was a general question about how to get in touch with one's grandmother for the holidays. In my case it would have to involve an Ouija Board or seance. No matter how good the iPhone or Droid is, I don't think they have an app for that.
