Another nice find at JC Penny.

Liz Claiborn purse white background with a Hibiscus print. It comes in Red ( looks more like a dark fuscia), black and yellow.
Price: $30

I really LOVE this bag. It is a nice roomy box shape. Has very nice lines and is easy to carry. Gives enough room for a larger wallet, keys, sunglasses.

It also has several accessory pieces which you can purchase separatly that rock: cell phone case, 3 piece set of make up cases, make up pouch, case for a reader like nook or kindle.
Price: $15 for any one of these.

Got flamingo and parrots and also floral diecuts.
Also some decorated stakes and hanging decorations.
Plastic hula skirts for decorations and shot glasses


Can't beat any of it for $1

Well I know you were planning as early as possible. Not your fault you had to wait till the merchandise was put out for sale!!

Just checked some Dollar Tree stores. The tropical merchandise is almost all out!

Found a nice selection of silly tropical themed sunglasses. My favorites are the lenses shaped like Margarita glasses with limes or Flamingos.

New to me this year were tablecloth weights in the shape of Hibiscus flowers. They come in a pack of 4 either pink, blue or lime.

Also: Tropical cut outs, table grass skirts, door frame grass skirting (also called door fringe), tablecloths, napkins (these are the same patterns from last year), packs of 24 ct plastic shot glasses, tropcal drinking straws, food tents, tote bags, serving dishes shaped like surf boards or flip flops. The paper plates and matching napkins again featured flamingos, but in a different design from last year.

I'll post an update as more items are put out on display.

Kraft Pina Colada marshmallows! Pineapple flavored marshmallows covered in toasted coconut!

These looked so good! I can't wait to taste them. I think I'm gonna try and make tropical Smores this year!! YUM!

I like Kohl's a lot. They carry nice quality merchandise. I always look forward to seeing their tropical collection each year. Will have to stop in over this weekend. Thanks for posting about these and adding the links as well. Glad to hear Bob found three new shirts to add to his collection!

Checked out Target today to see if any new tropical items were on display.

I found faux white coral book ends $19.99

white shell wall plaques $9.99

These were on end caps near bedding.

Also their plastic outdoor dinnerware was on display. I saw more summer colores in their patterns schemes. I did not see any tropical themes such as tiki huts, surf boards etc. as they have done in years past. I was disappointed to not find any of the large ceramic beverage dispensers. The last two years I found ones that weres a 3D sandcastle and a tiki hut. They were about $1499-19.99 and a total impulse purchase. But they were to cool to pass up. Sorry not to see them this year.

I just found the Crystal Light Margarita Mocktail today..not bad.
Question: Has anyone tried the other 2 flavors they offer?

We had a card for awhile. Honestly, it has been worth it. We have a freezer and during the winter we stock up quite a lot. So it has been a good thing for us.

We have the new flavors ( see earlier posts about these) but have not taste tested them yet. But will soon and will let you know.
