Like, let's say a dog bites a person and the dog was a strep carrier or had strep. Could the dog infect the person w/ strep?

Wow Mal, I don't know. The only thing I can think that dog's spread is rabies.

I hope this is just theoretical and no one got bitten :o

Tony (my sweet baby boy who isn't much of a baby any more) was bit on the a$$ a few times during recess at school on Monday by a neighborhood dog who jumped the fence. Last night he spiked a fever and complained of sore throat. Today at doctor; strep. Doc said it was possible, but I'm not always trusting of doctors and figured someone at BN would know or had experienced it.

I think that this is possible. If I remember correctly, we have some acquaintances who had a dog and the kids kept getting sick (possibly with strep). It turned out the dog was a carrier.

So, I think this is possible. It's been a while and quite honestly when my wife told me, I filed it in the "do not care" part of my brain.

If I had a dog, I'd blame it when I farted.

years and years ago, Ryan, the cat and I were all taking antibiotics...Ryan and the cat were both taking that nasty pink stuff
I ask the vet if we were giving it to the cat or she to us?
He said, probably not.....

Without wanting to cause a stir here, the dog's future isn't looking too bright. :-?

At least the dog's owner finally came forward and you know the dogs shots are up to date. Too bad the owner was so damn irresponsible.
