Um. Me! Well Delmon anyway.

We got him from the Twins. In his first at bat (against the Twins) he hit a home run.

Delvin, Delmon, whatever.

Let's just get this thing over with so I don't have to live through it another day.

OK 3 more outs. Holding breath. 1 run against Yankees isn't enough to be comfortable.

Of course it is.
Yankees bullpen is very shaky, as is the offense.

There you go, Nancy. Game over.

Q)What do Derek Jeter and I have in common?

A)It's high time we BOTH retired.

I was glad to see Brandon Inge do well this game. He got sent down to the minors and managed to make his way back into the line up.

The only thing that puzzles me is how the hell did Verlander LOSE five games this year?

Everybody has a bad day now and then

Man, our former Tiger Granderson has been tough on us this series.

Granderson is only one person.
It takes NINE guys to make up a team.

And they have to find ways to win OTHER THAN BY THE HOME RUN.

But, like in any game or series, the better team usually wins, and that's what you want. The team thal loses just has to try harder next time. And learn that you can win without a barrage of home runs.

Speaking of which, who the hell ever heard of DELVIN/DELMAR/DELMON YOUNG?

Tomorrow is another day....and another game. Justin won't be pitching.....

Justin didn't pitch yesterday either.

But it's just as well. As I said, let them lose, get this over with, and I don't have to go through another day of a 190/110 blood pressure.
Anyway, I'm at work, gotta hit the road for a while, have a good night-I enjoyed chatting with you even though the good guys lost. Good luck against the Rangers or Rays in the A.L.C.S.
G'night.

I haven't been following the playoffs that closely because I have no rooting interest in any of the teams, but from what I read in the NY papers this morning A.J. Burnett is pitching for the Yankees tonight. I can't see the Yankees winning with him on the mound unless the Tigers have a complete meltdown.

And if the Tigers meltdown is anything like iths been the past two nights, it's champagne time in Motown.
