Just a few last minute items:

2. For anyone who has sponsored $20 or more - don't forget to find me to get lei'd.......er I mean get your lei - that is your ticket to get food. I will have them with me at the pool party in addition to the day of the show.
3. Our plan is to be at the location shown on the aerial on page 1 - but if the fairgrounds mess with us and we are someplace else - here is my phone number 941.807.5950 (I'm a REALTOR so don't mind my # being in a public location LOL)
4. Entertainment schedule is as follows:
11:00 - 1:00 John Friday He is starting off this extravaganza so I hope you'll be able to make it early into the lot
1:00 - 4:00 The Charlie DeCosa Band
4:00 - 7:00 John Frinzi
5. Lunch will be ready around 2ish so please plan accordingly. We are feeding 140 peeps (at last count) ACK!!
6. Don't forget - bring your own beverages AND MAKE SURE SOME OF IT IS WATER!!!
7. Don't forget your sunscreen - just because we're under the trees doesn't mean you won't burn (ask me how I know
)
8. We will have plenty of trash bags - PLEASE DO NOT LITTER. The fairgrounds usually look like a pig sty the morning after, it would be nice if our little area is the cleanest in the land!!
9. In addition to our performers selling their merchandise, there will also be Troy Allan's last CD's for sale ($20). There are still medical bills to pay off and besides - it's just a plain awesome CD!
10. PLEASE be careful on Friday night going to Skipper's - have a designated driver or cab it - they is no money left over for bail
If we can coordinate it - let's plan on a group photo just before lunch - what do you think? I would also like to get a picture of all past, present (and future?) service members to send into Soldiers' Angels with our donation.

It is an amazing mostly outdoor venue under huge old Florida oaks.
The place looks like a homeless camp from the outside.
The food is excellent as long as you realize you are in an old Florida hole-in-the-wall sort of place (think Alabama Jack's).
Several bars inside, reasonable prices on beer/liquor , lots of room, big stage, good sound system.
If you are coming from the fairgrounds (Buffett concert area), trust me:
ignore what your GPS says and take I-4 west to I-275 (8 miles)
then I-275 north to exit 52 Fletcher Rd (7 miles)
Right (East) on Fletcher 1 block to Nebraska
Left (North) on Nebraska about a half mile to Skipper Rd
Right on Skipper Rd, Skippers is on your left.
about 15-20 minutes, and well worth the drive!

I have been looking for info on cost of parking. Mike and I are going to be towing our camper and driving 2 vehicles so if anyone knows what parking may cost it would be great.
