across the road from the main parking lot entrance you have:
La Quinta Inn
Holiday Inn Express
Red Roof
and I believe a Comfort Suites

The Hard Rock Casino & Hotel is across I-4.

Several others are 3 miles south on Route 60; some of which are located in Brandon not Tampa.

i need to figure where to fly in and out of and where to stay Thursday night and Friday night...booked at LQ for Sat....i am thinking flying into Tampa...would like to beach it on Friday....and maybe out of Orlando on Sunday night..thinking M-ville for lunch!!!

T, I'm thinking the beach on Thursday, perhaps that place over by St. Pete Beach that Mommar and your crew showed up at 2 years ago. I can't recall the name of the place right now. They have beach chairs and umbrellas we can use.

That's the beach I mentioned to you when we were talking about Sunday. That was nice, there was food and drink and a beach - I'd be up for that on Thursday, though I'd have to find a ROOM! Maybe LQ has Thurs night available.

Thunderbird resort....it's on Treasure Island.....i looked quick ...rooms were pricey.....chances are i'm coming solo. on this one....what are you doing Friday????

I know it was Treasure Island but I don't remember a hotel, it was just a beach bar kind of place but I can't remember what it was called.

We are section 15 row Q, and we went on first thing

Since it's spring break for me, I want to spend a few days in the area. I'm going solo- are there any cheap beach areas (maybe quieter, less well known than say, St Pete)? I have wheels, so I can go up or down the coast a little ways- don't want to spend all my time on the road. Any suggestions appreciated!
