I have lived in Key West. The Bahamas. Just got back from Abaco. Spent over a month once in St. Barths. Two years in Ireland where it don't snow - atleast where I was. I choose to live in New England. I lived and worked on Nantucket for over 3 years and wouldn't trade that for any of the aforementioned latitudes. New England is the best place in the world to live. Now go get drunk or move some place warmer. Or both.

Concert dates?? Seriously it does get a tad boring in winter here in the NE

Are you kidding? There are tons of things to do. Tons. Tell me . . . this past storm dumped a foot of snow over a 2,100 mile track . . . what do all other 100,000,000 non New Englanders who got hit with snow do that makes the entire area of New England a "tad boring" in comparison?

I am meeting friends to hike the Minute Man National Park in Concord, MA is about 2 hours. The sun is out. I just walked my dog. It is gorgeous outside. After our hike we are going to the Walden Grille for burgers and shots. After that I am going to see an early release of Sanctum tonight in 3D. 3 F'N D!

Life is what you make of it. You don't need Jimmy Buffett concert dates to live it.

Sure, it's beautiful out today - but I have this JOB thing that requires my presence during the week. I love skiing but it's $85 before you even put one foot on the slopes. I guess I need to find a new group of friends because I don't know anyone who would go on a hike today - though my co-workers and I DID go snowshoeing last week in NH, but they all live hours away so I don't do a lot of that either.
I didn't say JB's concerts are the only thing we have but it sure livens up winter around here.

Years back when I was seeing a specialist at N. E. Medical Ctr. I saw pics of when the Floating Hospital literally was on a ship. The patients would be put on deck in steamer chairs and wool blankets to get some Vit. D.

I actually like the snow to drive around in since I have a Jeep, but I really can't afford to have any more snow days from work. My anniversary isn't until the 23rd so no more vacation days left after I take the week off before the anniversary.

I am thinking he is going to release dates on the 14th

Apparently the GW dates were supposed to be announced the week he fell...
I guess that has delayed things for some reason..no worries though.. they will be coming soon..
