A GW covered in snow is better than no GW at all. And just curious, how long has it been since GW wasn't it's official name?SchoolGirlHeart wrote:I went past GW yesterday. All covered in snow is just wrong....

LOL. Yeah, our ophicial name is definitely GW but the corporate wrangling back and forth has been since some time before 2001. When Comcast bought it they put little trees on the signs, like that'd make us happy.ScarletB wrote:That IS it's OPHICIAL name!tigzoe wrote:A GW covered in snow is better than no GW at all. LOL...I like that..the ophicial name! I can't believe ti has been 10 years! I don't care what name they put on the building in Boston...there will only be 1 Garden and they tore that down years ago.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:LOL. June 4, 2008 it became known as the Comcast Center. From its opening in 1986 until 1999 it was known as Great Woods. From 1999-2008 it was known as the Tweeter Center.

On a side note . . . for all the New Englanders out there . . . today is f*cking gorgeous. It is a perfect Winter day so get off your as$es and enjoy it. Please.I am going cross country skiing out near Nickerson State Park on the Cape. Then shots. Always shots. Good for the soul and liver - don't believe that lying son of a b*tch Surgeon General. Then my dad's for a bbq and football. FINS The F*CK UP!!!! Enjoy the day . . . from the other side of your windows.
