48....All I can say is WOW!! I'm a late bloomer, just got buffettized in 2006. Been to 11 concerts only got to see 10 though. Oh how I wish I could afford to travel all over and see him and make up for all the years I missed out on. Oh well, IF we can get tickets we're going to take our 5 year old grandson to his second JB concert in The Woodlands. Took him last year and he loved it. He's been asking when he can go back.

Didn't they sell tailgating spaces last year for that special LOT ONLY? Those folks were there early!

this will be show #5
and we tailgated last year. they opened the lots at 10:00 am for first come, first serve.
we were there around 9:15 or so and were the 10th car in line. if i remember right, i think it was $30 per spot (maybe more if you wanted to back up to grass). planning on doing it again. i'll let yall know what to look for closer to showtime and yall can stop by and say hello.

The Woodlands S U C K S it is 80 something miles from where I live I would rather fly to Tampa which I am. F the woodlands no offense I know you live there. The cops S u C K ... everyone in Houston hates that place

I'm definitely coming to Houston again this year. It's too bad Frisco isn't the Saturday after, cause I really wanted to go to both....but, since they aren't back to back I'm going to have to go with just Houston again this year. Where is everyone staying? I will probably make a reservation today if I can. I am also booking my flight today into Houston...how far is IAH from the Woodlands? Just curious.
Can't wait to meet some of you at the show! The tailgating lot was fun last year...small, but still a lot of fun! Hopefully I'll get to see some of you again that I met last year...we had a great time at our first Texas Buffett show and hope to have just as much fun this year.

Not sure exactly how far IAH is, but it is the closest airport to Woodlands.

Hey LSG, according to this it's 24 miles: IAH to the Woodlands
It's an easy drive really. The airport is not far from I45, which will take you right on up to The Woodlands.
If there is a Frisco show this year, I won't go to the Houston show (even though The Woodlands is only 20 minutes away from me 
).

Thanks springparrot and VanillaGrl...I checked out a map and you guys are right, it doesn't seem like it's too far away from the Woodlands.
