Who's Going to St. Louis 5/3/11 ??

Alright it is official. A May 3rd stop for the WTF tour in STL. Tickets go on sale Monday, Janaury 24th at 10:00AM CST. We've got a group of about 30 ready to go.

I'm planning a trip to visit my family in IL around the STL concert and will be bringing two PH virgins with me.

Hmm... this sounds like a possbility for me... I haven't been to St. Louis in about 2 years, would love to get back there.

I maybe for us. I checked Harrah's and they are raping with the rate or all the lower rate rooms are booked. I remember years past the cost was like $59 or something. Any area hotels we should check out for price?

Just as soon as the rumor of May 3rd started I was able to book a room for $49 at Harrah's. Last year they did the same thing...$59 rate before the concert became official and $179 after the concert was announced.

If you go west about 2 miles into St. Charles, Ameristar has a nice hotel/casino complex. There is also a Country Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites and Fairfield Inn just over the Missouri river in St. Charles.

We will be there and you can expect a similar setup as last year - shot luge, shot skis, BBQ for charity etc... right up in fron of the main entrance. As things become more solid, I'll update. Being a Tuesday, I expect the parking lot will open around 1pm or so.

There are 2 hotels right next to Verizon, a Homewood Suites (314) 739-3900 and a Wingate by Wyndham (314) 209-0001. There are also many hotels right around the same exit as well as Ameristar Casino.

Not going this year.. but went last year. This place was NICE and we walked to the venue, and back again after the concert.

Have Rooms at Harrahs... Waiting to hear what the STL parrothead Club has planned for Pre & After parties..

Hopefully Sammy's will be open, the show is on Tueday night..

Even though we only live about 10 minutes from Verizon a large group of us are staying at Harrah's as well. In previous years there has been a trop-rock band playing in Voodoo after the show and Sammy Hagar's place is good for a drink and bite to eat after the show.

Somehow I missed this thread. My club (Memphis) appears to be in denial that this concert is happening and has not gotten a group together to book tickets! Are you getting a block of tickets as a club?

Not a club...just a group of fellow parrotheads looking for an escape from this damn winter weather.

I think the STL Parrothead Club is selling tickets...you may want to look them up.

Tickets are in hand...VIP parking passes have been purchased. The group is about twice as big as last year. 60 tickets and 6 parking passes...just 99 days until the party begins.

Was anyone able to purchase the VIP Club tix??? The one that had the bar and bathroom combo??? I hate the lines at Verizon, wait...I hate EVERYTHING at Verizon

, except JB when he comes...So that was my goal for the day and wasn't able to get them??? Would those really sell out that fast???? For seat tix, I go an alternate route!!!
