Truth is over the last couple of years I have not been of these threads very much. Life draws you in different directions -and my interest in all things Parrothead had waned. But when the news broke of Jimmy's fall I immediately wanted to draw back into the fold and be in solidarity with other BNrs in his quick recovery. Thank you BuffettNews for keeping the light in the lighthouse going.

When this parrothead madness started for me 3.5 years ago I joined BN, and I am so glad I did. Ms Sammie and I have met so many good people thanks to this site, and we have some life long friends out of the deal. The past couple of days have been rough as Jimmy's fall shook me up pretty badly, but it sure is nice to have BN to come to, and now it is nice to start laughing again.

Thank you phjim and moderators for everything and then some that you do.

This was the first place I came to after a friend sent me a text to tell me he had fell. I was at work and had not heard the news yet. As soon as he told me I told him I was going to go to BN to check it out. Always my first and only place for all things Buffett!!!!

Obviously, the site was down for a significant part of the day that Jimmy fell. However, I appreciated that, when I went to "BuffettNews," there was a page that explained that the site was down and provided links to other sites where we could get information. Thanks, "BuffettNews," for providing us with those links.
