Old Song-New Favorite
Ok Pholks! Since it is freezing up here in NY and we are about to get MORE of that white $&^#%...I thought I would try to get my mind into a warm, fun place.
This morning while driving to work I heard Off To See The Lizard for the first time in quite a while. It seems every year one or two songs hit me and become my season long favorites. I think that is what happened this morning.
My question for everyone: Does this happen to you and if so, what song has most recently become YOUR seasonal or "temporary" favorite?
For me, last year was Caroline Street, this year is going to be Lizard.
Fins UP!!!!

Yep, that happens to me also. This month I started listening to the "Changes in Latitudes..." CD and am hooked on "Miss You So Badly".

Yeah, it does happen to me. The song that I have recently re-discovered is "Boat Drinks," which, for me, is the quintessential Buffett song, capturing the sound I think of when I think of Buffett's music.

Definitely happens here, too, but a rediscovered song usually lasts a matter of days or weeks rather than a whole season. Today it was "Chansons Pour Les Petits Enfants"

I have no idea why, but I heard Boomerang Love the other day and it's been stuck in my head since. Definitely not my favorite Buffett tune, but I like it.

Re: Old Song-New Favorite
Happens a lot. Sometimes after hearing a tune live. Random play from the music library helps too.
Off to See the Lizard is a great album to listen to from start to finish. Have you read Tales From Margaritaville?
