I heard from Star Lake Pavilion, Burgettstown, PA. yestereday and they said no information is available at this time.
I was really appreciative that she returned my phone call. I also asked if anything is in the making, hoping she
would hear the desperation in my voice [smilie=shake.gif] [smilie=shake.gif] [smilie=shake.gif]
I asked the lady who called me if she could keep my phone number and let me know if she hears
anything...at all....I hope she does....I need something to look forward!!!

Please Jimmy....release some concert dates soon!!

The tickets went on sale February 20 last year. Out of desperation I checked my credit card statement from February to see when I bought my tickets.

I'm hoping for a date to be released soon.

Pittsburgh was announced Feb. 12th last year. Tickets went on sale on the 20th. I was on margaritaville when they posted them so I was lucky enough to be the first one that viewed it. Hopefully we hear something soon.

It's only a matter of time we hear something. I'm guessing next week after Wednesday. Back in the glory days of the mid 90's concerts were always announced in early March so we have time people... We have time.

Headed to Heinz Field to see Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown........anyone know if the tailgating will be like at a Buffett show? Never been to Heinz Field, just wondering what to expect.

I was at PNC Park for the Bufffett concert a few years ago. (PNC is right next to Heinz Field.) That might have been the hottest day of that summer. Tailgating was ridiculously hot, since the asphalt in the parking lot absorbed the heat. I know that people were drinking more fluids (plain ol' water!) than usual in order to deal with it.

Some people had problems getting into the show on time because the stadium didn't have sufficient gates opened for the size of the crowd. I know there are newspaper articles written about that.

But it was nice walking along the river. A lot of folks brought their boats, and had them docked outside the stadium, and other people were having a great time swimming in the river.

All-in-all, it was a positive experience, but it was far from perfect.

I've already looked for hotel rooms for the night of the Chesney concert, and hotel prices on the North Shore are already in the stratosphere.

The Clarion Hotel in Pittsburgh is a nice place to stay. This hotel used to be a Ramada Inn. Located on Holiday Drive.
The hotel prices are about $129.00 per night. Stayed there last year for the Buffett pre-concert party and had a wonderful
time. You may want to check it out too.... [smilie=battingeyes.gif] [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Thanks for the heads-up about the Clarion. Unfortunately, I was looking for a hotel where I'd have a short walk....I was trying to avoid driving after a long day and night of partying!
