Well, if anyone is thinking about dumping or returning orchestra tickets, let me know. I already have seats (and lawns) that I'm sure I won't be able to unload but maybe we could strike a deal. I've never really sat close at a Buffett concert and sure would love to.

why wouldn't you guys get refunds , they are offering them....i saw someone who is selling lawns below cost...crazy....get your money back.....then purchase new.

Just got a full 100% refund for my tickets. Its funny, I am as happy now as I usually am on the day of the concert.

I can't get my money back because I won them both the seats and the lawns. If we have extras, you can have them with my compliments. I need to verify that my buddy who has the lawns didn't unload them today somehow. If I managed to upgrade my seats, my seats would be for sale. I'd give them away, but I can't really afford to spend $ on tix when I already have some, so my hope would be to offset my costs. Not that it's likely to happen anyway.

I got a refund from Airtran/SW last night

When were you supposed to fly in? SW isn't offering me a refund....

SW owns Airtran and they (Airtran) emailed me late yesterday. I was flying in today and leaving Monday. Was flying into DCA. They siad it would take 7 days to refund. All this was electronic.

Mac's concert at the State Theater has been postponed without a new date right now.

I GOT STUB HUB TO GIVE ME A REFUND....sorta! Since the show was rescheduled and not cancelled, I will no longer be able to use my tickets. I called stub hub today just for the hell of it and by mistake their sale's rep agreed to give me a full refund back to my credit card. 15 minutes later, she realized their mistake and she called me back apologizing that it is not stub hub's policy to refund for rescheduled shows. To make a long story short they offered me full credit to make up for their mistake. So now I am guaranteed great seats for Buffett next year, even if they are WAY over priced. Later in the day they also sent me an e-mail with our agreement in writing!

If anyone is in town for the now postponed concert....WAPHC is having a Hurricane Party at Kilroys Bar and Grill in Springfield, VA from 1-6 PM tomorrow. Entertainment is peanut Butter Conspiracy.

I hate to say it, but this postponement somehow breathed some new life into me for this year's show. I really wasn't terribly excited which is really unusual and now I'm actually up to where I typically am. I'm guessing because I've been irritated at JLL. Now everybody who truly feels like they got screwed by the surprise can get their money back if they choose. I think that makes me feel less like this is all one big mess of tense people begrudgingly coming so they don't waste the tickets they bought and will instead be people who are coming to have a good time regardless. Nearly everybody has an out. If the policy bothers people, they can get their $ back. If they still want to go even if they can't party before, so be it. I just feel bad for those who still wanted to come but can't because of the new date.

We're some of the bummed about the date change group. Yeah, we were peeved about no tailgating, but in the end we went for the show. I can't get vacation approved at the last minute for days proceeding a holiday weekend.
