There were beach balls, a comment at the beginning from Jimmy, and during CILCIA both a crack at JLL on the screen as well as the DC posters our fellow BNer made. I have video of that and many songs which will be uploaded hopefully tonight, but I need to edit the CILCIA video because of a boobie shot YouTube won't like me for.

It was a good show, but no party atmosphere at all. I wasn't forced from my car and didn't personally see anyone who was. But, we parked and left on our own. No tents, no gatherings and Critterville Cove was a desolate wasteland of port-a-potties and grass with no trash in it.

No Ilo. No Hot Hot Hot. Jimmy just walked out, had a technical difficulty with his ear monitors right off the bat and then started playing.

Didn't know if that was you on the video, but I saw the posters. I was actually going to text you to say I got it on video. Wasn't going to bother with it since there wouldn't be any video from Bristow. Then I saw that they had thrown a vacant lot shot in there and I thought what the hell. Started the camera just as the poster showed up. I edited this so I could get it uploaded first.

All of my photos are up on my Facebook page. I'll likely whittle the album down when I have time, but I thought I'd try to get them up while it's relevant and worry about the rest later.

Wow. Even without any pictures, just listening to the show last night, I could tell there weren't many people there. Wow. I just don't know what else to say.

Glad you attendees enjoyed it without the tailgating. I would have loved to hear him rip into JLL but he is classier than that.

This was the highlight of the night for me. It was smeared on the back of every 3rd or 4th seat. Spent the whole concert thinking about texting and saying that JLL ruined my experience, but I figured enough others probably did that and I'd be wasting my time anyway.

Awesome! I'm glad I caught it just in time. If you want the (unedited) HD video file as a souvenir, let me know and I'll figure out a way to get it to you.

It's on my home computer and I'm at work, so I can't tell you right now. I can pull the MP4 off of YouTube and send it to you now but that would be slightly edited or we can wait and I'll get you the MTS file from my camera. Wouldn't be able to get that to you until mid next week though because I'm headed to the beach as soon as I get off work today. If you want the bigger unedited file, send me a PM reminder next week and I'll gladly get it to ya.

Jimmy did a brief interview with USA Today yesterday. I'm kinda disappointed by it. Must not want to step on Live Nation's toes. He can't be that naive.

Hurricane, tailgate ban subdue Jimmy Buffett's final summer show

I also like how he says they don't cancel shows but then at the show says "How we got here, well we don't even want to go into that story. I tried to put an end to the show tonight. So we'll pick and choose our points of discussion on that later but I thought we should just fire it up. Ya'll been waiting for this a long time."

This JLL thing is so disheartening. [smilie=huh-ani.gif] Sickening. [smilie=puker.gif] I hope this nazi-style venue thing doesn't catch on at other concert locations. :x
