I was thinking of bumping this thread too, but figured someone else would help it along. Can't let a day go by without a little complaining.

On another note... I heard the Lube was making all of their events "Black tie" events? Has anyone else heard this too?

I'm here......and I'd love to find out what the "real" policy is for tailgating at Bristow this year......

Like others have said, the only way to really enforce this is to keep the parking lots closed until 3 pm (which is what they say every year, but never do). And I can see the police telling people parked along the road to move along. Regardless, there's still 5 hours until show time. What constitutes "tailgating"? Are the police going to arrest every person that sets up a lawn chair and has something to eat & drink?

When Bristow books a Jimmy Buffett concert how can they not expect tailgating? This whole thing just stinks.......

I dont know. Especially if a person really wanted to or could afford buy all the booze they wanted in the venue and get ll torn up and have the same thing happen.

I didn't say I was a parrothead......I just told him I was someone who had gone to concerts there since 2001 and what the heck is going on there? WMZQfest is a huge concert day with many different people performing there. I think WMZQ has an interest in this too!

Hi Laurie! Trying to get someone on from Jiffy Lube to explain what we can and cannot do as far as tailgating go.

I also sent an email to Boxer tonight (thanks Carolinadreamin') and he answered me on his DROID. I said I was a Parrothead. I was surprised he answered so fast. Here is his response:

I replied saying he might want to get a statement from PWC police before the interview. I think the biggest question that folks have is "what time will the lots open?"
