JB on the new ZBB album
Ok, I never saw a post on this, so I will toss is out for some Monday fun and trivia. Forgive me if this has been mentioned....
As we know, Jimmy sings on Knee Deep on ZBB's "You Get What You Give". Anyone know the other song he makes an appearance on?? Hint, he isn't singing, but it is a vocal thing, not a guitar part.

Re: JB on the new ZBB album
It was mentioned in a Zac Brown thread in the Related Artists section when the album came out. I heard it but I can't remember the song.

I remember that thread....can't remember the name of the song ( might be "settle me down" ), but you can hear Alan Jackson & Jimmy talking in the background, and Jimmy saying something like " This ain't never gonna get on country radio"sonofabeach wrote:It was mentioned in a Zac Brown thread in the Related Artists section when the album came out. Yep, that's it. Didn't know it had been talked about on here before.
If you have the song on in the background, you probably won't notice it. I have ear buds in most of the time at work and had to listen to it a couple of times to make sure it was Jimmy. Didn't know AJ was also on there. I downloaded the album from Itunes so I don't have the liner notes.

The liner notes do not identify Jimmy or AJ on that song, but you hear them.
Just as Mac's "Down By the River" does not show any other vocal artists - but you clearly hear Jimmy on Blame it on New Orleans and a few others.

Re: JB on the new ZBB album
Thanks for this thread. A ZBB fan myself, I just went back and listened to "Settle Me Down." It's clearly Jimmy in the background saying this will never get on country radio and the band is going to have to change its style. I hadn't noticed it before. Pretty cool!
Thanks,
