I listened to Kirsten's show last night, but didn't hear her mention
Parties That Matter or our racecar as we expected.

So we did not get (yet)
the hoped for
Radio Margaritaville Kirsten mention "bump" in voting.

We are averaging 224 votes/day.

We need to get that up to about 400/day.

Let's get aggressive today. We have the weekend coming up,
so we need every possible workplace vote you can muster today.

I listened to Kirsten's show last night, but didn't hear her mention
Parties That Matter or our racecar as we expected.

I heard her mention Parties That Matter, a contest and something about voting but I don't remember hearing her say what the contest was about or how you could vote. It was sometime after 11:00 and I was reading the newspaper while I was listening so I may have missed something. She did say to check out partiesthatmatter.org

I voted, and emails went out to co-workers.....got one from my boss who replied (jokingly) "is this what I'm paying you for???"
I replied to him " if your reply had said " I voted" instead of what it did, I'd already be back to work"

I'm still dubious about the vote counting mechanism. 3 votes on 3 different computers and the count was the same after as it was before. And yes, I'm sure votes were cast - the round "button" said "VOTE" before and "VOTED" after. So, if it knows a vote was cast on the computer, why isn't it included in the count? Or is there some delay in the recording of the vote? And how the heck do they know if a vote was cast on a particular computer?

This has happened to me on just about all my votes..I can really only remember seeing it change once. I'm hoping it's a delay thing, altho often times it doesn't update too soon.
I also wonder if the number you are voting on is the number displayed, and therefore the number will not change. it changes when someone else votes...is this as clear as mud?
