Charleston likes Nobody
Actually "Nobody from Nowhere". During “Nobody From Nowhere” at the Irvine show a few months ago my wife nudged me and said “Look at Charleston” . The big guy who normally looks extremely serious was moving to the music and singing along just like the rest of us. He was still doing his job and watching the crowd like a hawk, but getting into the song at the same time. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

Re: Charleston likes Nobody
Yes we have noticed that too. Well lets face it, how could you stand the job if you didn't like the music? LOL
Charleston was on our plane from St Martin and was very tuned into his Ipod. Head was bobbing to music. As intimidating as he is, he is really a nice quiet guy, just don't get in his way when he's "on the job". Respect!!!

It was my first look baby that's all it took

At the Gulf Coast concert this past July, Charleston was singing along with almost all of JB's songs.

As a rule, unless Charleston is right in front of my seat (and he has been a few times) I'm not looking at him. And that was especially true when Heather and Jules were still in the band.

Charleston's a great guy, but if he has his game face on I wouldn't want him headed in my direction.

I encountered his *game face* once aimed at me. Scared the s*** out of me.LIPH wrote:Charleston's a great guy, but if he has his game face on I wouldn't want him headed in my direction.
I was back stage pre-show at Nissan. Doing what you do, making light small talk with
Mac and Doyle but not overly fawning or whatever. Charleston was smiling and
posing for pics with a couple of people, so I decided I'd ask him as well, why not?
When I decided to ask him, I neglected to realize that it was about 15 minutes to
showtime and he had switched from backstage relax mode to "game face".
Never .... (ever) ..... walk up behind him and tap him on the shoulder
when he is in "game face" mode. He spun around faster than lightening
and twice as large as life. Scared the s*** out of me.
I meekly went back to my seats.

I'm still trying to figure out if Charleston is the spotter, and Snake is the muscle, or if Snake is the Spotter and Charleston is the muscle. Not even Snake will tell me.

Re: Charleston likes Nobody
When we were at the Coral Reefer soul show at Margaritaville LV in October Charleston was doing his job, but he was also walking around in the crowd and saying hi to folks. He was in relaxed mode, but if he is in game face I don't believe God could even help you if you bother him while he is doing his job.

He is well qualified to do whatever he does. But trust me, 100 % there are off duty cops in the crowd ..... Everywhere .
