Peter Mayer has announced plans for a new live CD taken from several perfromances on this Summer's tour with one being the Annapolis show:

I also received an email from Peter's fan club saying that if fans wear a PM t-shirt to these shows group pics will be taken that could possibly, I think, be part of the new album: http://www.petermayer.com/events/rams-h ... napolis-md

Glad I have my tickets!!! :pirate:

He was probably up past 9, Debbie. He will need a couple days to catch up on his sleep and recover. You know how these old guys are.

Sorry Ed, I couldn't resist. I tried, really I did.

Hope you and Chris had a great time!

Patience my kiddies......we just got home after spending the night at Lowes Hotel in Annapolis, had a leisurely breakfast this morning at 49 West Coffeehouse (belgian waffle with syrup and fresh mixed fruit, yum!), and some "required" shopping (yes, with Mrs. Bfan any trip, any where includes shopping!)

Peter's show was a sell-out and started around 8:10 pm (like JB, never right on time..... :pirate: ). Including 2 sets, an intermission, and encores we finally left Ram's Head about 11:20 pm. You're are correct Kevin, not my usual hour of being awake anymore!

A great setlist of his ever-growing song base. He opened with "Last Island", other songs played included "Romeo's Garage", an acoustic version of "Moonlight Over Paris", "India" (about Peter's one daughter), "Hair of the Dog", "All the Tea in China", "Suzannah" (written by Peter in Key West about the sunset celebration and originally offered to JB to record), "Musicbox", "Cool Blue Swing", "Blue Guitar", "Approaching Caroline", "Chain of Love", "BB's Got the Blues", "Morning Star Cafe", and ended with the whole band doing an unplugged rendition of "Faith in Angels" that intertwined the Beatles' "All You Need is Love". The crowd was really into the show, singing often, and clapping along. Peter asked if Annapolis would have him back......you can guess that answer!

Ram's Head was a wonderful, initimate venue to catch Peter and his talented band (Maggie Estes on violin. madoline, R. Scott Bryan on percussion/vocals, Chris Walters on keyboards/accordian, & Marc Torlina on bass/vocals). This show was the 3rd of this tour that was recorded and will be part of Peter's next album due out in a few months.

If you have never experienced a Peter Mayer show check out his schedule on his web site (http://www.petermayer.com) and go......... [smilie=coolup.gif]
