Apparently, expect a Cleveland date in July - no more specifics.

I hate Blossom almost as much as I love Jimmy... it's only an hour from me, and I have skipped it in the past and driven 4 hours to Cinci instead... Just have to see what the rest of the schedule is like.

Re: Cleveland
After the last Blossom debacle several years ago where the Sheriff's Department was hiding in the trees and giving out "open container" tickets, please say it's not so, Jimmy!!!! We would much rather have two Cincy dates where REAL tailgating is allowed .... !!!!Finnsaremorefun wrote:Apparently, expect a Cleveland date in July - no more specifics.

I am glad he is coming back to Cle. And hey, if you dont like it there, dont go. There has been tailgating at ever blossom concert without an issue. The sign leaving the parking lot clearly states, no open container beyond this point. Guess some have a hard time reading.

Re: Cleveland
I don't have a problem leaving my containers in the parking lot when I go to the show. It's the cops dressed like parrotheads handing out $100 fines in the parking lot that kind of kills the mood. I believe I already mentioned I have passed on seeing Jimmy there because of this, so yes, if I don't like it, I won't go. I don't even consider other concerts there.

If this is true, I'll be there. I can't pass up a Buffett concert that's only about 30 minutes away from where I live...no matter how bad the venue is.

Yes, it is true, Finally ! He is coming back to Blossom in July. It will be a week day- but no dates yet. We are working w/ Blossom on the tailgating issues, although it has been very very laxed since the last time he was here. Also in the process of setting up an off site pre-concert party.

Re: Cleveland
Sounds awesome. I can't wait...I went to the concert in 2004 at Blossom and I had no problems in the parking lot. I have heard about some really annoying things happening in the lot, though. So, hopefully they can get all the kinks worked out before the show in July. I'm sure the parking situation will still be awful, as it always is at Blossom, but I will deal with it to see Jimmy so close to my home. Thanks for the info! Hope we get this show confirmed soon.Amo wrote:Landshark Girl wrote:If this is true, I'll be there. 100 %. We had the Club party in the parking lot of blossom that year, and had not one issue.

Dan, I will definitely be at Pittsburgh again...never would miss that one. But if there is a Cleveland show I will just have to go to both!

I was at the last Blossom sow too. We didn't have any problems in the parking lot but it seemed like the walk from the lot to the venue took about 3 days.
