My wife and I have come to Cincy the past few years, but it always seems like we show up at the last minute because our schedule allows it. Now that we know we are coming down weeks in advance, I want to make sure we do things right this time. Usually we get stuck parking near the track and there never seems to be much of a tailgate there. One year I think we had to park in one place and walk to another parking lot to drink and eat, which was odd.

So, now that we have some time to plan this, I would like to know how your group does it. In the past, we have been a part of the Chicago BN tailgate with EJR, Wino, Candyman and that crew and things always went smooth. We would all agree on who was bringing what to share as far as food goes and Candyman would bring a grill and do burgers and dogs. We would all meet at one place before caravaning to the venue so that we could all park together. The wife and I usually bring chips and dip, homemade salsa (this year will be the first for that!) and veggies to share. I usually bring my guitar and harmonicas too.

I was just wondering how you guys did it and if we could be a part of it too. We might be coming down with a few friends of ours that are aware of the Buffett party tailgate but have never "done it the right way". As of now, I think we are coming to town Monday AM so if there is something going on Monday night, that would be great too.

I look forward to hearing fromy you guys. It has been a long year and I could use a concert about now.

Welcome to BN.

Well first off you would need to fill out a phlocking application for the phlock to vote on. Right now we are taking applications but are only accepting single men and single women into the phlock.
However since you play guitar and harp we may be able to skip the application process and allow you to join us. That is if the phlock is in agreement. Otherwise we could put your application on file until an opening comes up.

Good to see you have a good sense of humor. FYI, I already know what the Chi-town peeps say about us, I run with a group of them that are good people and crazy fun.

Just bring what you want. More food details will show up on this thread closer to concert......we have some awesome grillers and chefs in this group. Last few years there has been some big pot of good stuff.....and grills a blazing.
