If the end is near I guess we can look forward to the reunion tour. Jimmy in shorts with a walker...laughing as I'm typing this! Wonder what that tour would be called?

Reminds me of the places I've been.
Visions of good times that brought
so much pleasure
makes me want to go back again."

Exactly what I was thinking

"Wasting away" could take on a brand new meaning. Who knows...maybe he'd forget the lost verse again???

OK....before some of you jump all over me.....I'm just having some FUN..... :o

I became a fan because of the music. The touring is a big part of the package, but in the event that he should stop the full scale arena tours does not mean being a fan of the music will stop for me. If he should put out more albums after the full scale touring is done, of course, I will buy the album. Plus, in the event full scale touring should stop I can't see Radio Margaritaville being knocked off the air, so if you need a concert fix, listen to a concert replay. The wonderful thing about Jimmy is that he has built up such a body of work over the past four decades that he won't fade into the black once the big time touring is done. Plus parrotheads have flockings such as Stars Fell On Alabama, Meeting of the Minds, ETC. Those will not come to a screeching stop. In the meantime we still have him on the road in the summer so enjoy it while we have it.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

I don't want to be the sad people at the concert either, ya know? Better to have one more rollicking good time and then call it quits.

I've been thinking this same thought since the Gulfshores show. Honestly as I stood on the beach I thought about this. How could the experience ever get any better than that day? I haven't really worried about another show since then.

yep
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
