True, John, but it's just that Bristow is closest for us. Have been to CBP in Philly twice, no real desire to do another stadium show. Pittsburgh is a pretty good hike and Camden, well, I just don't want to go to Camden. No problem. Yes, this is ALL Jimmy's fault, one wave of his magic wand and the venue would change their minds. Your anger is WAY misplaced - this is JLL's moronic issue, not Jimmy's. But if you want to take your ball and go home I'll remind you of something my parents used to say about "cutting off your nose to spite your face".
Honestly, all things Buffett for me have begun to fade just a bit......maybe just a sign that I am getting older. Or maybe my priorities are changing.
This new "no tailgating" policy at JLL just became, for me, the final straw. The concert itself has slowly become secondary to the enjoying the day and events leading up to the show.
So, if I go to Bristow this year, it will be my last JB concert. I'll stay in touch with those Parrotheads who live close to me and those friendships will continue......

We have LOVED coming to this show the last few years, BUT can't see the point in driving 4 hours + hotel for a 2 hour show. We live 15 min. from the VA Beach show, and it looks pretty promising for the tailgate. At least we are allowed grills and tents and gates open at 4:30. Maybe if this show goes well, JLL will come to their senses.

When Merriweather Post Pavillion cracked down on the parrotheads and Jimmy moved to Nissan and it was a great alternative. last year was an eye opener when there was dui check point on the way into the place. well JLL will never see jimmy come back...
