I was able to get tickets to the show in Illinois on July 23rd.

It appears that the law of supply and demand have finally kicked in for Jimmy's tickets. Pavilion seats are still available for Alpine Valley (I just pulled four in Section 203, Row GG, at 730pm) the evening they went on sale. In all the years that I have gone to Alpine, I have never seen this before. It appears that 2011 is the year that tickets officially
became too expensive from many of his followers.

It is 5:45 p.m. and good pavilion tickets are still available..............weird, never in my 16 years of going to Alpine have I seen anything like this.

Sec 202 Row RR still available and day and a half after going on sale.........................Last year I would have killed for those after 15 minutes of ticket sales

This is weird. Pavillion was SUPPOSEDLY completely sold out at 10:05, 10:10 , and 10:15 am the day tickets went onsale (I tried numerous times requesting different numbers of tickets). Today there are tons still available... FOUR DAYS LATER! Does this mean that LiveNation is actually WORSE than ticketmaster? Or should I consider them better since I had thought I was relagated to the lawn but now can get pavillion!

I fill your pain! But not really since I got tickets too. I was shut out right away in trying to buy tickets, first try 10:01 not available, second try 5 minute wait then no tickets available.......kept trying, then something amazing happened after 40 minutes pairs of pavilions started to show up. I got some 202 row MM, I'm happy!!! Party on the 25TH! Rookies bus trip(cross my fingers) Biscuit.......!!!!!

I've never really understood why people get wigged out by "sold out". Seats just about always appear hours, days, weeks after the initial on-sale date. Some are likely released during the initial rush, some are released by whatever special groups get them and don't need them a week before, some are released........

If you don't have them, try every so often. Otherwise look on BN, eBay, StubHub, or (heaven forbid) online brokers. Be persistent and you will find.

My wife had knee replacement surgery and won't be able to do the lonnnnnng walk from the parking down to the seats, so we'll have to pass this year.
