The Coral Reefer Band
Does anyone know the history of the band. Original members who left and who replaced?
Heres someone's homemade movie from 1975.

That doesn't really help as it's more like a database listing of every musician that's appeared on a Buffett record and isn't an actual history of the Coral Reefer Band.

What is the definition of a "Coral Reefer", especially over time?

To me, FWIW, I look at it as anyone who's been a full-time CRB member for a length of time. For instance, I don't see Jake Shimabukuro or Bill Payne as CRB members but as a guest performers. OTOH, even though it's been years since Matt Betton played drums with Jimmy, to me he's a full-fledged former CRB member.looking4OPH wrote:What is the definition of a "Coral Reefer", especially over time?
